Where performance is proven.

Every material needs to be tested before it becomes part of a sole. Our Research Lab supports compound development, production quality control and product validation through dedicated instruments and certified testing methods. From tensile strength to abrasion, hardness, flex resistance and thermal behavior, we measure how materials perform before they reach the ground.

Dynamometer

Measures tensile strength (ISO 37) , elongation at break (ISO 37) and tear resistance (ISO 34-1) , mainly on rubber and polyurethane. It is also used for adhesion tests between layers (ISO 20344), helping us monitor bonding performance and material reliability.

Abrasion tester

Measures abrasion resistance according to ISO 4649, supporting quality control on rubber compounds and finished soles to ensure consistency across production.

Durometer

Measures material hardness according to ISO 868, helping define the right balance between structure, comfort and performance.

Flexometer

Tests the resistance of soles to repeated flexing according to ISO 17707, verifying how each construction responds to movement over time.

Rheometer

A key instrument for rubber compound control. It monitors the vulcanization process before production, supporting batch quality control and the development of new compounds.

Climatic Chamber

Used for ageing tests on materials and adhesives under controlled time, temperature and humidity conditions, allowing us to monitor performance under simulated environmental stress.

Heat insulation tester

Tests thermal insulation under controlled time and temperature conditions according to ISO 15090. It can be used on complete footwear or to evaluate materials and adhesives exposed to high temperatures.
